An item that has been previously used. I realised as I was laying the pieces out that I'd cut the coins the wrong way around, so that the patterns are 'upright' when the quilt is horizontal. At some point I want to get a rotary cutter and mat, but scissors works well for most purposes, so until I see how much crafting I actually am capable of once I am responsible for a small person, I will hold off.
One mile outside the village, there is a farm shop and tearoom which also offers a range of experience days including tractor driving and shire horse days.
Of course, the main draw of the area is the beautiful landscape, its lakes and fells, and this property is perfectly located for enjoying them both, as it situated 4. Perhaps the most famous of the lakes, Windermere offers a fantastic range of activities and attractions, ranging from leisurely cruises and thrilling watersports to National Trust properties and pretty towns.
Guests will find everything they need here including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, and dishwasher, whilst the washing machine and tumble dryer can be found in a laundry area just off the front hall. The bathroom, also on the first floor, offers a shower over spa bath and WC.
There is parking for one car. It was such a lovely quaint village and everyone was friendly. The cottage had its own wood burner which looked at smelt gorgeous. Maddie our dog loved it aswell, we will definitely recommend hill side. It was very cosy but the best bit was the pub next door - good ale and food and very dog friendly. We know the area very well but, although the weather forecast was poor it was not as bad as expected and we did get some good walks in as well as experiencing the great Lakeland air.
Good breakfast at the pub!
Old Hall Farm worth a visit! We will come back again! Great food in the pub. Lovey food and welcome from all.

I think it makes it look a bit more polished on the front. He obviously wasn't happy about Cesareans either.
